We are delighted to be able to offer a school day pre-school provision. This began in September 2023.

At Cuthbert's Cubs Pre-school, we want to prepare your child for their future school journey, giving them the best start to their education. Our aim is to transition children into school as happy, confident and independent learners. We nurture the uniqueness of each child and enable them to develop a sense of pride in their own identity.

 

Term Time Opening Hours

 We are open Monday to Friday - 8:50am to 3:20pm.

Options currently exist for a school day- 8:50am to 3:20pm

Morning session 8:50am - 11:50am

Afternoon session 12:20pm - 15:20pm

Unfortunately we are unable to offer wraparound care for our pre-school children as part of Cuthbert's Club or as part of the pre-school. We will keep this under review as we progress through the year.

We offer our children an inspiring and fun-filled Early Years curriculum. We have a classroom base, outdoor area as well as use of the school’s facilities, such as the nature area, large playing field, ball court and hall.

Our children have full access to the indoor and outdoor areas throughout the day. This free-flow play environment offers a rich learning experience for children. It allows them to progress at their own, individual pace and develop independence in their learning.

We want to work closely alongside you as parents and carers, ensuring that you feel informed and involved in your child’s early education. Each of our children is allocated a Key Person who will encourage and extend their learning experiences. Their role is to ensure that your child feels happy, secure and well cared for, whilst developing important key skills, in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
